Welcome to BromleyBee. These Terms & Conditions set out the general terms governing the use of the BromleyBee website and, where applicable, enquiries, bookings, enrolment, payments and services provided by BromleyBee.
BromleyBee is owned and operated by BromleyBee UK Ltd and provides early years education, childcare and related services in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
By using our website, submitting an enquiry or booking, enrolling a child, making a payment or using our services, you agree to the applicable terms set out below together with any programme-specific terms communicated to you.
1. About BromleyBee
BromleyBee provides early years education, childcare and related programmes and activities for children.
Our educational and care practices are guided by the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other relevant early years guidance. As BromleyBee operates in Bangladesh, references to the EYFS describe the educational and quality framework that informs our practice and should not be interpreted as a claim that BromleyBee is regulated by the UK authorities responsible for early years provision in England.
Our services are subject to applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements and regulatory authorities in Bangladesh.
2. Website Information
We aim to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date. However, programmes, fees, schedules, availability, age ranges, facilities, policies and other information may occasionally change.
Information on the website is provided for general information and should not replace specific information provided to a parent or guardian during the enrolment or booking process.
If there is a difference between general website information and a specific written agreement entered into with a parent or guardian, the specific agreement will normally take precedence.
3. Enquiries and Tours
Submitting an enquiry, contacting BromleyBee or booking a tour does not guarantee a place in any programme.
Places are subject to availability and the applicable admission and enrolment requirements.
Tours and appointments may occasionally need to be rescheduled because of operational, safeguarding, security or other circumstances.
4. Enrolment and Admission
Admission is subject to availability, the child’s age and needs, the suitability of the relevant programme and completion of BromleyBee’s enrolment requirements.
Parents or guardians must provide complete and accurate information requested during enrolment, including relevant information concerning:
- the child’s health and medical needs;
- allergies and dietary requirements;
- emergency contacts;
- authorised persons for collection;
- developmental or additional support needs; and
- any information reasonably necessary for the child’s safety and wellbeing.
Parents and guardians should inform BromleyBee promptly if any of this information changes.
BromleyBee’s detailed Admissions Policy and other relevant policies form part of our operational procedures.
5. Fees and Payments
Fees vary according to the programme, attendance arrangements and services selected.
Applicable fees and payment arrangements will be communicated to parents or guardians before or during enrolment.
Where online payment facilities are available, parents and guardians are responsible for checking the payment amount and information before completing a transaction.
A payment is not considered complete until it has been successfully processed and, where applicable, acknowledged by BromleyBee.
BromleyBee may use authorised third-party payment providers to process payments. Payment information handled directly by such providers may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
6. Cancellations, Withdrawals and Refunds
Cancellation, withdrawal and refund arrangements are governed by the applicable programme terms and BromleyBee’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Where advance notice is required for withdrawal or cancellation, the required notice period will be communicated to parents or guardians.
Eligibility for a refund depends on the circumstances, timing and applicable programme or booking conditions.
7. Attendance and Absence
Parents and guardians are expected to follow the attendance arrangements applicable to their child’s programme.
If a child will be absent, BromleyBee should be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Repeated or unexplained absence may be followed up in accordance with BromleyBee’s Attendance and Child Absence Policy, particularly where there may be a safeguarding concern.
8. Arrival and Collection of Children
Children must be brought to and collected from BromleyBee in accordance with the setting’s arrival and collection procedures.
Children will normally only be released to parents, guardians or other persons authorised to collect them.
BromleyBee may request identification or verification where necessary.
Where staff reasonably believe that releasing a child to a particular person could place the child at risk, BromleyBee will prioritise the child’s safety and follow its safeguarding procedures.
Late collection may be subject to the arrangements and charges communicated to parents.
9. Health, Illness, Allergies and Medication
Parents and guardians must provide accurate information about any medical condition, allergy, medication or other health matter that could affect their child while attending BromleyBee.
A child who is unwell or who may pose an infection risk to other children or staff may be unable to attend for a period of time.
Medication will only be administered in accordance with BromleyBee’s medication procedures and appropriate parental or guardian authorisation.
BromleyBee’s health, medication, allergy, infection-control and emergency procedures provide further details.
10. Safeguarding and Child Protection
The safety and wellbeing of children are fundamental to BromleyBee’s work.
All children attending BromleyBee are subject to our safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
Where there is a genuine concern about a child’s safety or welfare, BromleyBee may take appropriate action and, where necessary or legally required, share relevant information with appropriate authorities or professionals.
Safeguarding considerations may take precedence over normal confidentiality arrangements where necessary to protect a child.
11. Behaviour and Respectful Conduct
BromleyBee aims to maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for children, families, staff and visitors.
Parents, guardians and visitors are expected to communicate and behave respectfully towards staff, children and other families.
Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, intimidating or seriously disruptive behaviour may result in restrictions on access to the premises and, in serious circumstances, reconsideration of service arrangements, subject always to safeguarding and contractual considerations.
12. Photography, Video and Media
Photographs or videos of children may be taken for educational documentation, observations, parent communication or other authorised purposes in accordance with BromleyBee’s policies and the permissions obtained from parents or guardians.
Images will not knowingly be used publicly for promotional purposes where the required consent has not been obtained.
Parents and visitors should respect the privacy of other children when taking photographs or videos at BromleyBee activities or events.
13. CCTV and Security
CCTV may be used at BromleyBee premises for safeguarding, security, safety and incident-management purposes.
Access to CCTV recordings is restricted and recordings are managed in accordance with BromleyBee’s CCTV, privacy and information-management procedures and applicable requirements.
The existence of CCTV does not replace active staff supervision or other safeguarding measures.
14. Parent Communication and Digital Services
BromleyBee may use websites, email, telephone, messaging services, parent communication platforms and other digital systems to communicate with families.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate contact information and keeping it updated.
Where third-party platforms are used, their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.
15. BeeBot and AI-Assisted Information
BromleyBee may provide automated or AI-assisted services, including BeeBot, to help visitors and families find general information.
BeeBot is an information service and should not be relied upon for emergencies, safeguarding reports, medical decisions or other matters requiring direct professional or management attention.
Although we aim to keep its information accurate, automated responses may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Important information concerning a child, fees, enrolment, health, safeguarding or contractual arrangements should therefore be confirmed directly with BromleyBee where necessary.
16. Events and Additional Services
BromleyBee may offer activities, events, holiday programmes, clubs, parties or other additional services.
Specific conditions, fees, age requirements, consent requirements or cancellation arrangements may apply to these services and will be communicated where appropriate.
17. Personal Information and Privacy
BromleyBee collects and processes personal information necessary to operate its services, communicate with families, maintain children’s records, safeguard children and meet legal and operational requirements.
Information about how personal data is handled is provided in our Privacy Policy.
18. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the BromleyBee name, branding, website design, written materials, photographs, graphics and other original content published by BromleyBee belong to BromleyBee or are used with appropriate permission.
Website material may be viewed and shared for normal personal and informational purposes, but it should not be copied, reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without permission where such permission is required.
19. External Websites
Our website may contain links to external websites or services.
BromleyBee is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
20. Service Changes and Temporary Closure
BromleyBee may occasionally need to change schedules, programmes, activities or operating arrangements because of circumstances including severe weather, public emergencies, security concerns, government directions, infectious disease outbreaks, utility failures, building issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where practicable, families will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Any financial arrangements resulting from a cancellation or closure will be dealt with according to the applicable programme terms and refund policy.
21. Complaints and Concerns
We encourage parents and guardians to raise concerns with us directly so that they can be properly understood and addressed.
Complaints will be handled in accordance with BromleyBee’s Complaints and Compliments Policy.
Safeguarding concerns should be raised immediately through the appropriate safeguarding route rather than waiting for the normal complaints process.
22. Responsibility
BromleyBee takes reasonable measures to provide a safe, appropriate and professionally managed environment.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Parents and guardians also have responsibilities for providing accurate information, following reasonable safety procedures and complying with agreed enrolment and programme arrangements.
23. Changes to These Terms
BromleyBee may update these Terms & Conditions when its services, operational requirements, policies or applicable laws and regulations change.
The current version will be published on our website with the date of the latest update.
Where a material change directly affects an existing contractual arrangement with a family, BromleyBee will communicate it appropriately.
24. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Bangladesh in relation to BromleyBee’s operations and services in Bangladesh.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to override any mandatory legal rights or obligations applicable to BromleyBee, parents, guardians or children.
25. Contact Us
Questions about these Terms & Conditions can be directed to BromleyBee through our official contact channels or at either BromleyBee branch.
